Scuba x DOMiNii unleash bending genres on "Tango"

"hard edges and open air"

"Tango" is an unleashed instrumental collaboration between multi-instrumentalist Scuba and debut London vocalist / producer DOMiNii. It has retrogrades of sound steeped in the quintessential wave tones of the 80's while blending in contemporary musical narratives. I appreciate the breaths here, the severe free form drum sounds creating massive ascensions along with post rock lead guitar that, again, have a sort of 70's cinematic shift. Scuba and DOMiNii know how to build tension and deconstruct it. How to swing widely, broadly, in a sort of vox populi fashion while feeling raw. "Tango" with the screaming guitar, feral drums and building electronica feels like an amalgam of Pink Floyd, Europe and Mr. Mister and I mean that as high praise.

‘Tango’ begins a series of new collaborative works between Scuba and debut London vocalist/producer DOMiNii. Built with drums on overdrive and Scuba’s Novo guitar entirely off the leash, its synth work and winding bassline evoke a stirring wall of sound which seamlessly links in with recent productions, ‘Never Forget’ and last summer’s ‘Forgive Me’.

Scuba x DOMiNii, Dream Pop, Psychedelic Rock, Post Rock, instrumental, dramatic, retro rock, London vocalist/producer DOMiNii. Scuba, multi-instrumentalist, exploding guitar, feral drums, 80's tones
