The Intelligence and the avant-garde post punk "Celebration Ratio"

"...I miss the celebration of nothing..."

The Intelligence have released their “Celebration Ratio” single, the first release since Un-Psychedelic in Peavey City in 2019. Lars Finberg had released the latter on his own label Vapid Moonlighting Inc, while “Celebration Ratio” is available as a 7” flexi disc from Leisure World Tapes. The band’s distinct sound spawned through the transition into the 21st century, rightfully ignoring the sometimes questionable musical trends of the early 2000’s and opting for experimental avant-garde post punk expression. The track holds true to the Intelligence’s defiant style, with a simple structure and eclectic instrumentation that’ll hook you in. Leisure World are curating a fresh niche of releases this year and we’re stoked to see what’s next from them, consider picking up some flexi’s if you dare.
