San Francisco based singer-songwriter, musician Kimpoyr instills a sense of calm with what sounds like wooden xylophonic tones, a gentle guiding beat, other percussive sounds that push forward like a mantra and Kimpoyr's sung guidance or maybe even a secret wish that we all are privy to. Her vocal aesthetic is tender as layers of self harmonies and backing vox gracefully sweep you up. It is all so beautiful. It feels like a chill psychedelic, even cosmic, embrace and is something we can all use during these times.
