Persona 749 and the scatter shot brilliant broken sunshine of "Ole' Dom Song"

"cuz I woke up in a bad mood in a bathtub with no clothes on and a tattoo of a blind man who could see more than I could..."

"Ole' Dom Song" by Persona 749 might rattle your brain, will definitely make you smile (even chuckle), will appeal to those who appreciate the Beastie Boys and The Catcher in the Rye, will be embraced by anyone who has ever wanted to scream out the window at the top of their lungs until someone calls the police and to those who have felt despair and climbed out of it.

Rumour has it that Persona 749 is the divergent subversive art punk, hip hop deconstruction of one Landon Lagenbrunner but I neither confirm or deny this supposition.

What Persona 749 has to say contains some shiny pearls of wisecracking wisdom within the sort of pulp punk improvisations on display, some lines that will stick with me for a very long time.
