Farrah Hanna and the emotional tug of war of "What Kind of Man"

"if you were the sunset, I'd be the blushing sky..."

Injected deep inside "What Kind of Man" by Cairo, Egypt born, Virginia based singer-songwriter, musician Farrah Hanna is a deep filmic story that tugs and pulls at you and at itself. There are deep ascensions around Hanna's emotional wails, enforced by dramatic strings, slamming doors, guitars, drums, keys, impactful self harmonies and more. Hanna shares that the track is about "the tension felt when you love and hate someone at the same time".

Her honest storytelling takes the listener along as she navigates through joy, heartbreak, friendship, & what it generally means to be a person most days. She writes in a way that strongly holds onto the belief that the minor details that make every experience different also happen to be exactly what makes them just the same.
