Twin Dive's alt rock sound is lean and muscular, bold and beautifully busted up. Their latest "Only Eyes" with it's stalking guitar shapes and vocal aesthetic that leans hard on your shoulder. I love the grit in the words and the drawn out hallucinogenic drawl (skin and dream become two syllable words). "Only Eyes" is as the band shares: "a serenade to obsession, subconsciousness and sapiosexuality" and Twin Dive could also be that obsession. There is something decidedly artful, divergently so. The absolutely sleek and lush elements in their overtly distorted, heavy tones may be derived from their pan-Scandinavian heritage. They burn enticingly like a fuse, elegant punk that knows the power of burning over exploding.
