In mehro's latest offering "Parasite" acoustic guitar notes glisten like pearls pouring out of a cup. Beautiful orchestration gently floods in but it is this acoustic core that, for me, anchors the song to mehro's bedroom indie core sound, that and his magnificent vocal aesthetic. We all know that voice and how it connects naturally, symbiotically to his young exponentially growing fan base. mehro's voice feels exquisitely earnest, he seems to know the perfect balance of artfully pushing his singing voice and backing it off in such a way that he is still singing but you get the intimate sensation that he is speaking, speaking in your ear. His empathetic ability to speak to us all and for us to feel it deeply is a special thing.
