Romina Von Mohr and the soulful dream pop brilliance of "For a Moment" (Official Video)

"I'll see your lovely face waiting to erase my troubles at least for a moment..."

There is something so special about "For a Moment" by Mexican-born, Houston, Texas based singer-songwriter Romina Von Mohr. It is not only that it is her debut single but the fact that it's dream pop descriptor is simply to one dimensional to describe it. Romina's powerful and artfully drawn vocal aesthetic (along with her melodies) has a deeply soulful indie tone. As produced by Josh Moore at his home studio (also in Houston) the track feels bathed in a cross generational blend of current adult contemporary tones (like the smashed beats, psychedelic lounge guitars) but also feel the ghosts of 70's R&B and soul pop running throughout especially in Romina's vocal melodies and I love that. She has a killer instrument in that voice.

Romina shares that "'For a Moment' is a song about looking back at a past love in reminisce. It's about wishing she could go back in time if only to momentarily re-live the love."

Romina is a Mexican-born singer-songwriter based in Houston, TX. Her obsession with lyrics has led her through a path of self discovery, expression and exploration. Her favorite topics to write about are the bittersweetness of love and the turmoil of an overactive mind. After a near decade of introspection and self imposed hesitation, she is finally making her debut with "For a Moment".
