"Horsedance" is the first single from South Italy's garage alt rockers 23 And Beyond The Infinite's upcoming album "Lumen Del Mundo" and hearing it for the first time felt like 9 cups of coffee injected intravenously. Not only did I find myself moshing with the furniture (much to the consternation of my wife) but afterward I felt like charging up the steep mountain trail near my house. A crushing fun amalgam of post punk, surf guitars, cinematic flair and post hardcore hammers it is like a blend of Osees, iconic L.A. punk band X, Duane Eddy, spaghetti westerns and an imaginary Quentin Tarantino flick on high.
Dig this. I would recommend listening to the spotify link prior to the Official Video (though it is very cool and fun) only because spotify uploads have an eq with more ooomph. Either way, enjoy.

After an almost 10 years long path through territories full of psych rock, post punk, shoegaze and noise experiments, during which they released 5 records and have been touring several times through many underground clubs and festivals all around Europe, they are now coming with their sixth official release.
Recorded by Raffaello Pisacreta at Mood Records in Atripalda (IT), mixed and mastered by James Aparicio in his studio in London (UK), LUMEN DEL MUNDO is a 8 track album that will be released on May 23, 2022, via Dirty Beach and Stand Alone Complex and it will be the first one composed and played as a three piece band.
Acid post punk grooves, surf guitars, a rough garage rock energy and dynamics full of emotionality are the main features of this new album, that perfectly shows the band's strong impact on stage.
