On the sparkly, glam tinged alt rock / avant pop "Honey" UK's I Know I Know, the moniker of prolific multi-instrumentalist/producer Tommy Hill, he let's himself be heard in a big glorious way. Put it this way, place the track on any playlist at a party and this song will be the one that turns heads or makes the room quiet.
The heaviness of the funk infused dominant beat and bass lines, Tommy's sultry vocal aesthetic and jagged guitar shapes made me think of an amalgam of artists like Prince and Queens of the Stone Age.
