"GAME" is the final episode from jonnychang's and Solomon Chang's latest EP and video series "The Weather Inside" and as the artists share "is about the world we live in". jonny's conscious hip hop patter touches on a lot of things from historical emotional ethnic cleansing, the culture of competition / greed / and consumption as it relates to America, losing ones roots and culture, giving in to stereotypes, the opiates of the masses and more. The theme of us all thinking we are players in the "GAME" but merely being played hit me hard and long after hearing this track.

As an immigrant I remember being spoon fed terms like 'melting pop' and 'colorblind' but as I got older it felt more conformist and brainwashing in the worst sort of way. Anyway terms don't matter, actions do and I don't need to tell you all how glacially slow America is when it comes to all kinds of evolution and how large our divides are right now.
