"until you look back you will never feel safe..."
There are many thing to gravitate towards on the textured orbiting "US" crafted by Nother, the project of Italy based Stefano Milella and voiced by Moon Leap. Collabs for Stefano is nothing new. He has spent years as a composer, drummer and producer collaborating on many works from movies to television. His works have graced documentaries for National Geographic, the History Channel, Fox and he has written soundtracks for film as well.
"US" with it's sinewy synth lines that stutter and percolate against stoic beats provides a framework for Moon Leap's vox and self harmonies that feel at once darkly sultry and at times, otherworldly. There is a filmic sense here of drama and unanswered questions but the sound is also anchored in a sort of 70's soul pop vibe too (at least to me).

Nother is the solo project of Stefano Milella, created after years of collaboration as a producer, drummer and composer for movies and tv, working on many documentaries for National Geographic, History Channel, Fox, and writing several soundtracks for short films and the movies such as South Is Nothing, Only For the Weekend, and There Is A Light.
Milella's music has the ability to be both engrossing yet calm, soothing yet immediate. It's electronic music with a human pulse, with an ability to find homes both in the headphones of our last year and the dance-floors of our re-emergence tomorrow. Created after the loss of a close friend, Nother was finally a project that allowed Milella to focus squarely on the music.
His first album Future Is Bright captures an optimistic tone, looking forward into a new horizon with warm hues. The album was released July 20nd 2021 on Abyond Music.
His experience scoring three feature films, as a performer and composer for many electronic acts brought him to play on stages like Primavera Sound (Barcelona), SXSW (USA), Bestival (UK) and Strawberry Festival (China).
He played at Primavera Sound 2022 this June 9th at Stage 10 (Night Pro) and released his new single "US" feat. Moon Leap
