Slime Lush and the dark and twisted alt rock pie of "World War 8"

"Your shame is a featherweight, it doesn’t belong in the ring with me / Window watching the world. Window watching the world / Governed by grief, till there’s no more autonomy / As the ceiling presses down / The ceiling presses down..."

I don't know anything about Slime Lush but their track "World War 8" moves in interesting ways. There is a somber blanket over it, one you can see through and the words feel very dark and oppressive. While I can't very well know the meaning of this song considering it is from the band's full length entitled "Custom Slaughter" with song titles like "Nixon Peace Fingers" and "Creepy National Anthem" I can make a safe guess / assumption that this politico indie rock / post punkery is no picnic. AND if it is a picnic the food in the woven picnic basket may just be poisonous.
