Chef Salad and the dreamy transmissions of "phosphor"

"just lost my nerve...(???)"

Chef Salad is Jesse & Tegan from Cincinnati, OH and the track "phosphor" from their debut album "Frogman" feels dreamy, wistful and like locked in radio transmissions from another place or time. I love the vocal aesthetic, a shoegaze blend of the duo voices though I cannot clearly make out any of the words. Even though I love song lyrics, in this case it doesn't lessen the impact of the song for me. The overall out of focus quality lends to the dreaminess. The mere sound and melodic impact as if listening to a song in a foreign language just makes you hear what you want to hear, makes your mind drift into hidden places in your head. You seem to recall things in your past you haven't touched on in a long time.

Just so you know you can hear the lyrics on most of the other songs on the album (at least I can).
