Society of Beggars are an alternative rock band from Naarm/Melbourne, Australia. Their debut, ‘An EP Called Night’ was released in 2017 and was met with acclaim from audiences and favourable reviews in the Australian music press. The band toured nationally, playing to audiences across Australia in 2016 (‘A Tour Called Night’), 2017 (‘Old Haunts Tour’) and 2019 (‘God Mode Tour’). This exposure helped develop the band’s reputation and notoriety as one of Australia’s most energetic and visceral live acts. In 2019 and 2021, follow up singles ‘God Mode’ and ‘Dance The Evil’ received airplay across the globe on stations such as Sirius XM in the US and on Spotify and Apple Music playlists. Their latest track ‘Lick’, released on 28 July 2022, is the third single from their forthcoming debut full length album — ‘Levitator’.
