Range Life and the bittersweet folk indie rambling of "TRUCKS" (+ LIVE Performance)

"your searching for telepathy in the back of your mind where you feel fine on your own..."

The rambling rose sound of "Trucks" by Range Life, the project of New Jersey based singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, DIY producer Mike Chiarappa has a down home feel without sounding country. While it percolates on what feels like bango picking, other elements tonally feel more jangle pop / folk indie and as Mike's vocal aesthetic with supportive beautiful harmonies feel as much like 80's new wave-esque folk (think Goo Goo Dolls, Cracker) as it does contemporary folk indie iterations like Kevin Morby or Hollow Caves. The plaintive jamminess carry bittersweet lyrics and in the end feels moving and freeing.

The upcoming Range Life collection of lo-fi tracks that comprise Mike's first EP as a solo artist were all performed, mixed, and written by him in his bed room.

** At this particular time we find ourselves in a financial pinch due to many factors. We want to keep AP going. It has been a passion project for over 13 years. PLEASE consider donating, we could really use the support. Thanks so much
