Violet Basso and the haunting human alt rock mayhem of 'Tell Me' (Official Video)

"if I don't run, you devour me..."

The slippery bends and stair stepping haunting anomalies of "Tell Me" by Violet Basso could feel like something off of Abbey Road but with Basso's horror pop looking glass aesthetic runs much darker. Her vocal aesthetic like something from a gothic Italian ghost story shifts into lounge punk noir tones. Eventually her lyrical "la la laaa's" shape shift into something more murderous though I hope it is nothing more than an American Horror story fever dream because that is what it feels like.

Accompanied with an evocatively spooky Official Video it is perfect for the daring do's of Hallow Eve.

Boo!

Conjured in a mossy cave in rural Pennsylvania Stolen by wanderlust delivered to the Golden Gates of Victorian wonder An alchemical manifestation of vesper whispers with sultry notes of hypnotic Incantations Through fractured chandeliers she shows arcane moods Dionysian eyes Type-O stained lips and ethereal gem tones with hints of chemical x of the fourth scale degree
