Bad Flamingo and the Western noir slither and bull whip crack of "Devil and the Deep Blue"

"after dark watching from the shade..."

I dreamt that as I am going through the paces of my day from waking up to my morning cup of coffee, to checking various social accounts, to making a light breakfast to a hundred different things from the morning darkness to light and to the black of night that the mysterious masked western noir troubadours Bad Flamingo are performing live tucked away in the corners of my small two story abode. I can hear the percolation of guitars, some with a bullfight aesthetic and sultry bass walks for support. I am absorbing the fetching steely eyed vocal drawl that cajoles, that tantalizes in the corner of the kitchen as my wife and I eat dinner or on the other side of the shower curtain as I take a steam filled shower. I see the two bandits situated next to the flat screen, one on banjo, the other on autoharp while my wife turns up the velocity of the treadmill and I am planning a build. All over the tiny house, Bad Flamingo, is churning out their brand of spaghetti western meets pop noir meets gothic fog pouring over a desert courtyard (sonically speaking) making my pensive stare more pensive, my laughs more audacious and my aloof raised eyebrow more animated.

This will be the tenth time I have written about these two since May / 2018 and "Devil and the Deep Blue", once again, stirs imaginative movies in my head so the aforementioned weird and wonderful dream is to be expected. I also feel, at this point, keenly qualified to strongly suggest to check out all or any of Bad Flamingo's discography. I can't imagine that you will be the slightest bit disappointed in any way. You may, though, become addicted to their sonic persona and they may just enter your dreams.
