BF/C and the beautiful surreal artfulness of "Crying_1"

"across the pond / with your head held high and you're smiling..."

"Crying_1" by BF/C, the acronym of Sweden based Barish Firatli & Californiaman, feels artfully pop pure, an amble across clean sidewalks adorned with shops and that amiable man selling flowers. Within the lovely orchestrations and beautiful vocal persona (and harmonies), it is the kind of surprising song that screams late 70's American Television. Maybe, the Sonny and Cher show when David Bowie and Harry Nilsson would do a seemingly impromptu duet.

Well, at least that is what popped in my head but I'm weird. There is, here, an art rock sense too as well as baroque pop sincerity. About the song BF/C share:

"If you’ve got someone dear across the pond that you tend to dwell on and wonder 'what’s she up to?' making up plausible whims and shituations for her random weekday. If you got that person in your life - you sort of know this song already"

Sing it.
