"regret pulls me apart..."
Listening to hell fury of "BROADER SCOPE" by Raleigh, North Carolina's metal core outfit HEIRLOOM and I imagine myself head banging in my remote mountain home. Moving around the main living quarters I head bang dangerously close to the rock fire place eventually pounding my cranium into the huge dense mantle. "TWACK, CRACK" and my head splits open à la a grand guignol blood bath like in a 70's Italian horror movie. Eventually my face cracks away and my head falls off but alien nerve fibers sprout out of my spine with alien eyes attached and I break through the front door and roam the forest.
My forest neighbor hears "BROADER SCOPE" and is similarly infected by the virulent metal core meets post rock meets screamo sonics but he kicks at his wood pile outside his house until his right knee cap shatters and like me, a piece of his body is left behind and alien nerve ending sprout out of his knee cap. Splattered in blood he hops through the forest following an unknown otherworldly lure.
We come within alien sight of each other making our way to a cataclysmic bone yard in the middle of a clearing....
That's all I've got when "BROADER SCOPE" ends at 3 minutes and 29 seconds.
