Listen to the Caribbean-esque beats and underwater guitars of "if you love her" you will feel content at least for a little while. We all need this kind of beautiful distractions during these very difficult times. If this song were an unknown Beatles track, it would have been written and sung by John Lennon. This is high praise because Lennon knew how to put his personal melancholia (coated with hope of love) and express it in simple ways. The simplicity and nuances over dramatics made it especially beautiful and I feel that here from top to bottom, from the vocal aesthetic, from the musical tropicalia, from the organic and synthetic sounds from lo-fi to hi-fi.
