Ghostcake and the whimsical, magical escapism of "Get It Right"

 

"I swear I'll get in?????"

The brief descent into the escapist "Get It Right" by American singer/songwriter, producer, designer (and party ghost) Ghostcake with warbled synths, bending notes, video game blips, dashing bass line and beats that provide a bouncing bed for the party ghost to jump up and down on with whimsical vocals that, themselves, bend in alien ways dives deep into unknown and unreal places. 

The childlike sense cajoles you into moving light on your feet, maybe skipping or getting on that skateboard that you haven't ridden in over a decade. But be forewarned, you probably can't drop into an empty pool anymore or do a parkour-esque hand spring, but, still it is nice to dream isn't it? Plus I like the idea of a ghostcake because I can eat as much as I want.
