"luck can picture you / as a message just came through / I'll keep you crystal clear / I'm glad I do..."
The hand sewn, stitched stunning sonic tapestry of "I Found You Dead" by Hackney, London bedroom producer / songwriter Boy Ferguson, feels darkly dreamy, on one hand bolstered by organic acoustic guitar and Boy Ferguson's handsome vocal countenance, passionately drawn, a little torn and bruised up, and on the other hand shapeshifting with bending light through sonic prisms and emotional splashing eruptive jams, it all feels so dramatic and tense and beautiful in fight, flight and repose. Sorry for the long run on sentence, well structured, passionate art tends to make me prattle on too long (sometimes I even make sense).
I like the sounds, the emotional narratives that Boy Ferguson crafts because it feels as impactful both as a man and his acoustic guitar and with more musical colors because his melodies make the magic, whether painfully melancholy or insanely hopeful.
Great stuff.
LINER NOTES:
[This song speaks to the unavoidable loss of someone you wish you had valued more. A recurring fear of Boy Ferguson's. The song tries to share with us the sadness and frustration of the loss.]

I am a bedroom producer songwriter based in Hackney, London. Working as a composer for commercials I find my creative freedom in songwriting. My American mother has given me a strong connection to American folk/country music. I produce songs with an experimental focus but with the performance of a country musician.
