The jaggedly cool mystery maze of "This Plague", by French alt rock trio Red Light, feels deeply cinematic, maybe seeded by 80's new wave, 90's funk / romance wave / indie rock fusions with modern iterations of all varied iconic sounds into what has been called their own brand of electro rock / hip hop blues. Whatever you call their sound, I call it compelling, at once, deeply felt while sultry and swank. "This Plague" is the second single release of their new 2025 album "HomeWorks". Redlight was birthed in January 2007 in Marseille by Dape', London and Guy and currently is composed of Dapé (guitar - bass), Laurent (guitar - vocals) and Guy (drums - keyboard - vocals).

The sound with clean penetrating guitars does feel very 80's and artists in terms of the same sort of nucleic acid that come to mind are Duran Duran, The Fixx, The Power Station, The Alarm, Roxy Music just to name a few. There is also something art rockian with shades of glam too. The kind of music that when you go to see them as an audience, you dress up, you play your part.

After the release of their first album "Crash System Control" totaling more than 40.000 pirated downloads, RedLight focused on Live. Following a 6-tracks EP "What's Going On?", 2 double singles, then the album "Astronauts", released in January 2013.

Already Heard on various radios (LaGrosseRadio, Radio Neo, Graf'Hit, Le Mouv', YES FM, France Info), RedLight seduces, intrigues or captives.

RedLight made a sensation at the Hard Rock Café, the Batofar and a SOLD OUT concert at the Sentier des Halles in Paris, next to Izia at the MAS or at the "Me Myspace and Myband" evening at the Poste in Galene (Marseille), as well as many other cities such as Toulouse (Saint des Seins) or Bordeaux (Le Fiacre). The band also won the SFR Young Talents with a concert at Glazart (Paris).

In 2015, for the rest of its project, RedLight returns to its sources in complete self-production (production, recording, mix, mastering), for a series of EPs to be released in 2015-2016, whose first was "Jukebox Vol.1", released on June 21st 2015.
