"Sound Of Lies" by Stockholm's Räre Birds is sweetly drawn

AP Track Review

Räre Birds hail from Stockholm, Sweden and their track Sound Of Lies sounds like anything but. The delicate lead guitar work, stripped down indie tones riding on pretty vocal harmonies feel like a wistful, vast emotional travelogue. The subtle synths and mildly chunky double time rhythm guitar while the bass snakes around continually on the quick beat keeps the song building to a crescendo and then peaceful ambiance.

Sweet. From the "Living Room Tapes" EP up on Spotify.

THE FACTS AS WE KNOW THEM - PRESS NOTES:

Stockholm based Räre Birds is like a mix of George Harrison and Radiohead. The songs reminds you of the 60’s but the sound is definitely something else. Niko and Bernhard, the founders of the band writes and produces the songs. The first release, “Meaningless Rock”, came in February 2019 in the form of a live performance filmed in a studio in Stockholm.
The debut EP is planned to be released summer 2019.
