Jakob Levanthal's latest Back Again So Soon so Soon feels instantly like a dream pop affair like a sort of ethereal bedroom pop song that YouTuber David Dean Burkhart would take and fuse with his brand of weird public domain and no so public domain footage making it even more avant garde. Not that the track mines askew sounds or production cues. It does not. Maybe that is what makes it even more sublime and lovely.
