The Grey Merchant's blue collar muscular romance wave of "Anthropocene"

"unique and fantastic"

The Grey Merchant are an alternative rock band from Blackrock, Cork, Ireland and their dreamy rocker Anthropocene breathes with a big vast sea of romance as the verses are spoken in earnest and give way to the plaintively sung choruses amid big blue collar major chords that in another place or time have the same muscular back bone as The Who or Bruce Springsteen but The Grey Merchant swing with the romance wave tones and shoe gaze affections of bands like Big Country or Echo and The Bunnymen. Beautiful stuff.
