PANS' urgency of space, time and orchestration on "Autumn Child"

"even with the fire of man that had burned away..."

"Autumn Child" by Miami based PANS quite literally takes you on a journey of your own making. Of course it helps that these guys create the soundtrack awash in pushed orchestration blending rock classicalism, gothic folk and chamber pop into something sweeping and cinematic and so urgent. The sound on "Autumn Child" feels steeped in vague mythologies and I sense Eastern tones as well as Nordic ones floating through the darkness of space and time.
