"do it again, I don't want to finish..."
Cara Potiker does push disco-fied melodies throughout which makes this track beautifully odd, nostalgic, and haunting. The vision of goth kids wearing black fingernail polish dancing beneath a glitter ball keeps persisting in my head.

spin through the web cut all the linens, do it again I don't want to finish...
Kiss the sun goodbye... Kiss the moon goodbye
"Pine" cuts a deep haze, a thick atmosphere, it feels strangely punk (electro and proto), it feels like Soul Train and most of all, it makes you want to get up and shake your hips with a serious face.

Seek/Hunt has been waiting in the wings for a release since the start of COVID; the band is now navigating the digital realm via Spotify and Bandcamp. They plan to offer a series of limited-edition analog releases including records lathe cut by hand in Potiker’s current studio. In the near future, you can expect a live show brimming with pink bubbles, color-changing visuals, and a blend of live and electronic instrumentation.
