"I know she's right in the mirror of my mind...."
A needle drop on a vinyl blues record found in a thrift store, a non descript honky tonk on southern roads and the cathode ray TV- static gold colors of a country band on the Glen Campbell show. All these things and more might slip under your skin as you steep in "I Know She's Right" by Brooklyn bred GRITS. The song is an alluring and sweet slow dance, with blues guitar and an embracing husky lead vocal by Eric Breeding. The vast alt country, Southern blues atmospheres are sweetened up with old school orchestrations and a beautiful lead break.
It is the first time the band has worked with strings recorded with Vince Chiarito (Black Pumas, Ikebe Shakedown) in Brooklyn, NY. The gorgeous "I Know She's Right" is the third single off the band's
upcoming album and the last track on the record.
GRITS is comprised of Eric Breeding on vox, James Ruffino on lead guitar, Nicholas Grau on keys, Will Whatley on drums and Mike Rath on bass.

GRITS. is a rock n roll band born with a Southern soul that could only have been bred in Brooklyn. Their sound is bold and nostalgic — familiar, but fresh. A subtle tip o’ the hat to anyone who’s ever said they don’t make em like they used to.
