I wonder if showers in Norway are like showers in America (?) A silly thought I know but listening to Norway artist singer-songwriter STEINSDOTTER and her track "Dancing in the Shower", that thought came to mind among other things. Feeling the pushed bass pop prowess, the fluid synths and STEINSDOTTER's dreamy vox and there is a sense of late 70's pop, as well as 80's Madonna-esque bad girl allure, but also a sort of 90's disco / sensual pop revivalism, thinking of The Cardigans or Garbage or Gavin Friday or Kym Mazelle or an amalgam of all such similar 90's artists.
Steinsdotter wrote “Dancing In The Shower” with friend and alt-pop artist Red Jesus and at time like this when hate is in the air a lot (at least in America) and sweet, sexy retro pop song about love and hygiene is much needed.
