The sonic abstractions and rhythmic blow back of "Keep On" by Sexy Bicycle, the dream-pop // neo-psychedelia music project led by Sokhumi, Georgia born and Barcelona, Spain based Nika Elia (Nika Kvaratskhelia), feels exquisitely fresh and unique in today's cookie cutter musical landscape. The synth wash feels alien vintage, the dancing bass lines, the mellotron-esque keys and the languid vocal aesthetic that one might describe as high and crisp at the same time feels as if it is born from a place that doesn't exist, fantasy / emo / avant pop radio transmission from some other place where a foreign language exists that no one speaks.

[In 2012, when Nika Elia released the debut EP under the esteemed Barcelona-based label Madre Vynila Records, Sexy Bicycle embarked on a journey that took them to festivals and events worldwide, including prestigious platforms such as SXSW 2019, Primavera Sound, Vida Festival, FIM Vila-Seca, Tbilisi Open Air, Menú Stereo from Canal+, Sofar Sounds, and Balcony TV.
