The cool mysteries and plush indie rock dreaminess of "Lose the Score" by Athens, Greece indie pop-rock band Pink Vanity, started by brothers Konstantinos and Alexandros Krommydas in 2020, is a foray into blended rock sounds and vibes. While it may start as a mellow psychedelic pop rock bit of storytelling, it pretty quickly amps up the punch stirring in alt rock heaviness and artful 90's post rockisms stirred in, stiffening the drink so to speak. I am digging the arc of the song and the curious poetry within the stories bleeding out.

At the midway point, "Lose the Score" feels like an art rock manifesto with truly magnetic lead guitar shapes, evocative bass lines, droning synths and free form drum with raucous fills. I really am digging the grand ascensions and the cool running throughout and in between the lyrics.

Pink Vanity is an Indie Pop-Rock band formed in the spring of 2020 by the brothers Konstantinos and Alexandros Krommydas. After releasing 2 singles and an EP they are about to release their first studio album on March 2024 after being signed by the label ''The Hubsters''. Their live performances have been described as “ an intense party”, an outburst - and are already being cited. In November 2021, Pink Vanity made their live debut on the stage of Romantso , where in a sold out show, they presented their material and they captivated the Athenian audience with their explosiveness and eccentricity on stage. Since then they have made dozens of appearances in Athens and in other major cities of Greece, receiving very warm reviews. Their most memorable moments are their apperances as the opening act of the Belgian band Balthazar at the Fuzz Club on April 16, 2022, but also their participation at the Release Athens Festival in June 2023 along with Baxter Dury, Wet Leg and Madrugada.
