"and you know I will never repent"
Maine In Havana, the dark psychedelic folk outfit based out of Montpellier, France recently released their self titled album and the first track, Cimarron, the first single, is a good entree into their sound. Sit down, buckle up or brace yourself in some way for the commanding vocal prowess of Eduardo Lecleres Diaz. His lush and heavy dark vocal scowl will pass through you. The Gothic folk tones, courtesy of vibrato keys and haunting electric guitar embellishments (that hang in this thick musical fog) while the drum beat slaps like waves against the hull of a ship, will pull you into the song's poetry. It is atmospheric and vast in it's deep folk narrative.
MAINE IN HAVANA are Eduardo Lecleres Diaz (vocals, percussion), Frédéric Loumagne (bass, choirs), Vincent Thoyer (drums, percussion), Boris Blancas (guitar, choirs) and Yanis Blancas (keyboards, choirs).

MAINE IN HAVANA (psychedelic folk).
