"now that I have many friends / am I still a broken wreck / did I lose something vital / do I know what I'm even doing? / could you be forgiven / could you be anything..."
Embedded in a furious storm or guitars, bass and drums, "Warsaw" by Brooklyn's Balloon Snake has massive heaps of glorious distortions and angst in equal measure. When guitarist Micael Preysler screams out, "now that I have many friends / am I still a broken wreck / did I lose something vital / do I know what I'm even doing? / could you be forgiven / could you be anything...?", he asks more questions than making declarations creating the fractured tensions of youth that most anyone of any age can relate to.

Balloon Snake was formed in Bushwick. Made up of Micael Preysler (vox/guitar), Stavi Kuba (bass/vox) and Nate Hawley (drums). Inspired by guitar-heavy, melodic bands of the nineties and early '00s, Balloon Snake looks to bring a fun mix of slacker alt, shoegaze, punk and power pop to the scene.
