AP Track Review
Adam + Attack by Fire is the musical project (moniker) of singer-songwriter, musician, vocalist Adam Tarsitano and the track No More Coolhand is the title track of his latest offering, an 8 track album that feels like a concept creation of sorts. The English accent feels enlivened or accentuated (or more) on these songs and on the haunting Prepare Yourself full of intimate sounds and sideways inside out unintelligible voices creating eerie feelings. It feels like experimental / cinematic things happening. On Sophisticated Man and After Tonight (Going To Mars) there seems to be wonderful homages to space rockers. Casual Affair seems to mock 70's British romance movies. The cagey and cool track, Brunch, feels so 1960's and kinda glammy and the title track, No More Coolhand has a kind of pop waltz reminiscent of ELO. The entire album has this kind of hybrid retro / novelty sort of sound mincing and mirroring artists like Bowie, the Kinks, T-Rex and Gong. Interesting indeed, mate.

THE FACT AS WE KNOW THEM- PRESS NOTES:
The band is the creation of Adam Tarsitano. His songs have been described as circumnavigating "iconic sounds that feel proto punkish and glam and more." (American Pancake Blog, April 10, 2019).
The debut album "The Disease of Knowing" represented a rollicking rock n' roll re-creation of the peaks and valleys of life, love, and the painful lessons learned somewhere in between. And there is "a sense of British rockers like T.Rex, The Kinks, Bowie, and Mott the Hoople." (American Pancake, April 10, 2019). The three song follow-up EP "The Final Show" was released on June 28, 2019 and continued the dirty little adventure in glam rock. “It has the swirling glam rock styling that endears itself to fans of Bowie or Bolan...” (Austin Town Hall Blog, June 28, 2019).
The second full length album “No More Coolhand” will be released on September 6, 2019.
Veteran rocker Greg Hoy (backup vocals, lead guitar, percussion) recorded and embiggened “The Disease of Knowing” and “The Final Show.”
