AP Track Review
Jelani Aryeh is an enterprising and talented artist from San Diego, California. His track Earl Grey, from the Helvetica EP, is a self assured deep groove hip hop reflection on his life. The bounce of his poetry is at once torn but gleeful too like life itself at his (sort of) tender age of 17. Pulling influences from cinema, music and life in suburbia, his DIY and collab aesthetic could set him on an inspirational trajectory. After posting his music to the Brockhampton, Frank Ocean and Odd Future fan subreddits in hopes of creating a music and arts collective, he formed Raised By The Internet. RBTI, a group of like minded creative 14-21 year olds from across the globe. His first EP Suburban Destinesia was entirely produced and mixed by RBTI.
Earl Grey from the Helvetica EP is produced by Kakyon & Shotta Spence.

THE FACTS AS WE KNOW THEM- PRESS NOTES:
Jelani Aryeh is a 17 year old artist from San Diego, CA. He wrote and recorded his first song in August last year. Jelani takes inspiration for his music from music and cinema alike. His first EP titled Suburban Destinesia is equally inspired by the movie Palo Alto, a movie about directionless teens in the city of the same name, and Jelani’s own experiences growing up in the suburbs.
In May, Jelani posted to the Brockhampton, Frank Ocean, and Odd Future fan subreddits hoping to find like-minded people to create a music and arts collective. He has since formed Raised by the Internet, a group of 14-21 year olds from across the world. Suburban Destinesia has been entirely produced and mixed by RBTI.
