Electro Alternative
Mumbleton's first single, Everything's Good, from the upcoming "Imaginature" EP (due March 6th) is a dynamic piece of electro indie pop with rad drums and hip hop leanings. It is a cool fusion of styles, chill but explosive too. Mumbleton aka L.A. producer, writer, musician Tyler Lydell sings, "I'm better off alone and I'm as good as I should be" as a pumped up declaration, of shedding toxic people in his life and of co-dependence. The song does have a wicked celebratory tone embedded in it's big downbeats while flexing emotional muscles.

While Lydell's playing and production has graced other notable projects and soundtracks, Everything's Good is an exercise in DIY creativity. "The track was super DIY - I recorded the drums through a gopro and the built-in mic on my op1 synth" (see video below) but such things are easier said than done. Lydell exceeds because he is brilliant at what he does and the track, at it's core is personal and means something, something we can all relate to.

THE FACTS AS WE KNOW THEM - PRESS NOTES:
FROM THE ARTIST:
I grew up in church and loved the feeling of singing loud with a room full of people, so I wanted to make a track something that's super empowering and fun to sing along to. I believe in manifesting your own destiny. There's a lot music that focuses on the sads, and I wanted to make something that's explicitly positive while still having that 'fuck you' spirit.
this was kind of my farewell letter to some toxic environments, saying "i'm better off alone and i'm as good as i should be" is a mantra i said to myself when i was cutting ties with codependency, and maybe it'll do the same for somebody else out there.
You're as good as you should be. Everything's Good.
This song is a single off my EP 'Imaginature' releasing 3/6/2020.
