"don't know the time"
Brooklyn based producers Til Will and Paz Mallea as Immortal Wound are universe builders and the dark (and normal) matter used to create their spaces are the often intangible connective tissue of the ever mysterious "relationship". On their first ever self titled collaborative album the universe building follows the "arc of romance - a chance encounter, blissed-out love, wonder, confusion, heartbreak, and repeat."
One of the those encounters, um, tracks is called "Left My Mind" and in some ways (to me) it moves like a lumbering creature through time and space. There is a robust sort of beast like engine quality, like millions of people of burden pushing a vehicle of some sort through space like rowers in a Viking ship. You may see something else and that is the thing, after all, the sounds, the spacey, dreamy atmosphere lends itself to surreal journeys of your making. Hmmm, I even saw Thom Yorke in baggy black clothes and oversized white velcro kicks dancing to this.
Enjoy the divergent sci-fi mythology here, the hallucinogenic trip. Oh, and before you see the equally trippy accompanying Official Animated Video also created by Will and Mallea in their apartment, close your eyes and look at the show in your head.
