"enchanting"
[THESSENCE]
The Samoors' dreamy and nuanced "Only1" with it's sort of goth pop meets psyche tropical punk tones puts you in an enchanted place. There are these divergent fall-aways that make me think of early MGMT and that is always a good thing... loving the vibe, the trippy lovely vibe here.

Press stuff:
The band was formed with a similar modernistic-sensitive faith in art as a healing method to harsh realities. "the samoors" (the name is taken from the Hebrew verb describing the behavior of hair or fur because of fright, cold, etc.) search for a timeless-stress-free balance sound; giving those condensed issues a mending feeling while making up for the lack of instruments with a "less is more" approach; Pursuing architectural simplicity in music without ornaments or virtuosity, using the life and live chemistry between all members, "crisscross ready to assist" rolls and sincere lyrics.
