"I found another life..."
By the sound of "Friends" by Denmark's The Entrepreneurs, they are the kind of friends who give big hugs, listen to you when life bruises you up, will back you up in a fight and drive you to the airport. I absolutely love the different sounds that come through on this track and how utterly punchy it is. You feel hints of jangle pop, delicious alt rock dirty guitars, distorted, heavy bass, big anchoring drums, lovely indie rock bends and dreamy vocal ascensions and beneath all the abject the heaviness you feel tender reflections. The first single from their upcoming EP "Tourism" that drops this August (2022), the bands says that "Friends" is "about the many facades we carry with us day-to-day and how difficult it is to keep them up. It’s difficult to find true people to surround yourself with when you’re not being true to yourself. Like attracts like."
The Entrepreneurs is comprised of Mathias Bertelsen (vox, guitar), Anders Hvass (bass) and Jonas Wetterslev (drums).

The Entrepreneurs started out as a duo when bass player Anders Hvass and singer/guitarist Mathias Bertelsen met in their teens starting high school in northern Denmark. They grew up in Thy, a rural region of Denmark, known for its creative environment and progressive youth culture, despite - or maybe because of - its remote location. As they grew older and craved new impressions, they moved across the country to Copenhagen where they met Jonas Wetterslev, who became their drummer. After touring extensively with their debut EP, the trio gained a reputation as one of the fiercest live bands in Denmark bringing their aesthetically rich and experimental take on some of rock’s most significant subgenres like punk, grunge and post-rock to stages around Europe.
