"blending synthwave and dreampop, coupled with intimate songwriting..."
The tense urgency of "Fever Part III" by Alex Nauva's solo electronica project runs at a fever pitch. You might know Nauva as the frontman of the East Swiss post-punk band OGMH but here he systematically layers synths on top of beats creating a pistache of drama, of escape, of midnight raves in neon lit clubs or potent burning relationships between strangers, of other worlds in futurescapes, of running against sandy sunrises. You pick the imagery, you feel the fury of the drones of sounds. It might feel like dream or nightmare pop, it might touch the fringes of synthetic krautrock or the further edges of vintage electronic music. It is your pick.

Alex Nauva is the frontman of the East Swiss post-punk band OGMH. With his solo project, he creates his own take on contemporary electronic indie music by experimenting with different genres. In his early releases, he combined electronic genres such as techno and synthwave with his post-punk roots, adorned with lo-fi elements. However, his fascination for synthesizers and drum machines has grown drastically since then, leading him to move away from his post-punk origins. The result is a reinvention of his electronic music. Since his EP "Yume", he has been blending synthwave and dreampop, infused with pop hooks and intimate songwriting. With his latest single "Fever Part I", Alex Nauva announces the start of a three-part piece this April.
