AP Track Review
Nashville singer-songwriter James Levy by way of NYC, on the single NYC, has a commanding, yet forlorn singing style that exists somewhere between Jacob Dylan and Lou Reed and like those comparisons (and I hate to make comparisons) there is tenderness buried at differ levels in each word. The track has a driven folk beat with garden rock stirring tendencies and Mickey Raphaels' harmonica feels so sweet.
