Track Review
The delicious track 40 Years by TLA, a new band / musical project featuring Jon Sortland (The Shins), Tahiti Pehrson (paper cut artist) and Jason Clark (The Pleased) bristles with a new wave aesthetic in that New Order / Depeche vein. It bleeds with pearly bass heavy synths (wonderfully bent), a sincerely dance driven beat and cool vox. I am enamored.
TLA's creative aesthetic embraced the dada-esque type of songwriting embracing stream of consciousness, brain storming and from the gut writing sessions. Long-time friends and collaborators Miguel Aldana and Genaro Vergoglini (The Pleased) added additional support to this process.

40 Years is from the upcoming album "New Language" that drops November 1st, 2019.
