"the spring turns on the flowers"
Quiver is an alternative neo-soul band based in Rome, Italy and their latest spacey track I.S.S. (International Space Station) dreamily blends electronic pop with soul edges, lounge rock and tropical punk flavors all fused up into it's own universe. Key in the allure is a cool, beautiful vocal aesthetic with wide eyed poetically askew (charming) lyrics and a searing divergent dreamy lead guitar with a sound somewhere between a spring reverb'd fuzzy effected semi- hollow body and a theremin. I am digging this and want to float in a silver space suit and chill out.
"I. S. S. is about vast spaces, planets, and the love that keeps it all in rotation. It is about the people in little spaceships and the galaxy. They often navigate to keep their loved ones close. The lyrics refer to a long distance relationship: how sometimes, thinking about the immensity of space helps us realize how close we actually are. :)"
Float on everyone.
