Light Screamer from Örebro, Sweden is releasing their third album "Reap" and the track Dawn is the perfect antidote for listening to too much Tame Impala or Billie Eilish. The heaviness of their sound begins right away on rabid drumming, thumping bass notes and chunky guitars:
"Far away
Away the golden dawn is
Away the golden dawn is
Away the golden dawn is"
Away the golden dawn is
Away the golden dawn is
Away the golden dawn is"
The noise rockers have a way of screaming out pained lead lines around solidly formed rhythms and strident vox that is simply bad ass.
Light Screamer was formed in Örebro, Sweden, in 2011 by Ida Andersson-Norrie, Jens Hellman, Peter Lindström and Tobias Eriksson. Tobias left after the recording of Switch leading to the band adopting a three-piece line-up. Reap marks the end of an era since it is the last album recorded with Peter on drums. After Reap, Light Screamer was joined by Johan Kekki on drums.

Reap combines chaos, order, beauty, ugliness, noise, harmony, anger and calm in a ride that takes you through ten very different songs that make up a larger whole. Brett Bradford (Scratch Acid) has contributed with his unique guitar performance on the track Dawn. The award-winning Austin artist, Win Wallace, has created the cover as a graphical interpretation of the album.
