"why is everything never enough"
Brimheim's first single, Kafka, feels raw and immediate, moving so well and even though it feels ostensibly acoustic, the tom tom drums that explode like gun shots and Brimheim's vocal performance laced with passion and power makes the sort of indie folk song feel post punk in nature, so I guess it is really. Love the sounds here, that build on themselves. Brimheim's vox, a kind of amalgam of Florence Welsh and PJ Harvey, demands to be listened to. It is our pleasure.
Brimheim is based out of Denmark and will release her debut EP "Myself Mispelled" on October 16th, 2020.

THE FACTS AS WE KNOW THEM - PRESS NOTES:
Crafting lyricism with candid veracity, Brimheim’s brand of indie rock provides the unexpected yet catchy. Imagine the illegitimate love child of Florence Welsh and PJ Harvey — a goth teen who listens to Radiohead and reads Murakami. First single 'Kafka' showcases Brimheims strong and sincere vocal, her love for dark and volatile guitars, naive drummachines and lyrics dealing with the same existential vulnerability that oozes from Mitski and Julia Jacklin’s work.
