"breathing something heavy now"
Man of Chaos by Nashville based psyche rock outfit Flight Attendant is a sultry rapid rev psyche blues rocker and while there are other bands that fuel this aesthetic quite well, Fight Attendant's secret turbo charged weapon is lead singer Karalyne Winegarner (vox, piano, guitar) who knows her vocal instrument so well that she seems to effortlessly push classic rock, baroque pop all at once like a melding of Ann Wilson and Kate Bush. The other players step up the sounds as well including the surprising string sounds by Nikki Christie (viola, vox).
Of the track Winegarner offers:
“‘Man Of Chaos’ shines a light on that dark and creeping chaotic energy slowly seeping through the cracks of social turbulence,” adding that “it is about waking up to a certain side of yourself. Chaos is a catalyst for change, and I hope that our expression of it via this song can help to somehow tip the scale towards that unapologetic change so many are long overdue.”
Flight Attendant is Karalyne Winegarner (lead vox, piano, guitar), Vinny Maniscalco (lead guitar, vox), Nikki Christie (viola, vox), Mike Cottrell (bass, vox), and Derek Sprague (drums, vox).
