"it's hard to feel sorry with only yourself to blame"
Buddha Trixie is an indie psyche rock band from San Diego (Ca) and their power punchy somewhat emo patina'd Dream Daze is exquisitely adept at leading you into their youthful garage rock fray. As lead singer and drummer Daniel Cole offers"
"this song is about being anxious about working at a desk all damn day for the rest of my life" adding "and now I work from home at my desk all day".
Dream Daze, accompanied with a very cool mostly animated Official video directed by Mitchell Harris, is an angsty lament pushed forward with ultra punchy guitars, bass crunching / heavy drummed downbeats and even orchestral diversions. When the guitars bear their full weight with piercing leads and Cole's vocal wails, I swear that they out-weezer Weezer themselves. At the end of the day, maybe that is a good thing as Rivers Cuomo and the boys are getting kind of long in the tooth to be doing this sort of thing.
Buddha Trixie are Andrew Harris (guitar), Daniel Cole (lead vox, drums), Dennis Moon (bass) and Kenzo (keyboards, guitar).

Buddha Trixie is a pyschedelic indie rock band from San Diego California. After taking over their local scene, the band has begun expanding and developing a fan base throughout California, as well as online. 2019 will see them releasing 3 singles by the end of the year. 2020 will then see the band go on a California tour with The Frights playing at venues such as The Wiltern (LA), The Catalyst (Santa Barbara), Fremont Theater (San Luis Obispo) and more.
Buddha Trixie began as an innocent and informal outlet for Andrew Harris, Daniel Cole, and Dennis Moon. After honing their skills playing cover songs and unpolished funk jams, the three began to write original music. Then, after leaving for their respective colleges, Dennis came across Kenzo, who added another dimension to the band, as well as some killer hair.
