"you can take my wheel when I don't know what's real"
Alaska’s SunDog snuck up on us with their killer track “Oh No!” which feels like a modern Fifty Foot Hose tune. The song had me pleasantly surprised as I wasn’t expecting to hear anything like it. Drawing influence from 60’s & 70’s garage and psych, this powerful trio wield their skillful artistry to craft music brimming with potent volume. Abi Sparkman’s loud and proud vocals/guitar are what the genre has always desperately needed more of, backed with strong drums by Philip Giannulis and strewn with solid bass from Deven Lind. Their most recent full LP “Fungus Among Us” came out in January of 2018 and their fans have patiently awaited these new jams. “Oh No” was aptly released on Halloween, and their next single will grace us on December 12th. Listen up and stay tuned.
